Chinatown 2009 New Year's Celebration : Ivy, Nino and I spent awhile walking around the night market at the closed part of R. Magsaysay Ave. to check out the things in store and hopefully get some shots. It was not as i expected, there were little things for sale that weren't used. there where only a few things for sale that were 'chinese' in nature. Still, people flocked the street to check out the happening.

Colors of "A" Spectrum : On November 22, 2008, the Autism Society of the Philippines, Davao Chapter, in cooperation with Mr. John Chua, invited the Fanatic Photographers Society (that's us) to join int heir project called, Colors of "A" Spectrum. Each of the 23 photographers were paired with an autistic child with a Point & Shoot provided by Canon Philippines. We were to guide and document the children and their parents as they discover the world (in this case the Eden Nature Park) through an autistic child's point of view. I was paired with Jan-Jan, a 16 year old Piano genius. It was an adventure i'd remember for the rest of my life. Note: I have the parent's permission to post these photos on the internet.

Chef Ivy's Graduation from MOST Institute : Ivy's Graduation Ceremonies was held last August 22, 2008 at the Davao Convention Center. She finished 1st in their class, getting that gold medal and as their class president, she was asked to give a speech during the event.

Indak Indak sa Kadalanan (Kadayawan 2008) : I was fortunate enough to take time off from work to shoot the Indak Indak sa Kadalanan event during this year's Kadayawan festival here in Davao City. Ivy and I started the morning early and endured the scorching sun till noontime. It was a fantastic experience shooting a street parade!
